We stayed at the striking Encuentro Guadalupe - a very unique property with post-apocalyptic bunker cubes of guestrooms lodged in the side of a mountain, delicious breakfast, and stunning views of vineyards and farmland.
Wine & Food
The main reason to visit the Valle de Guadalupe is, of course, the wine and food! Here we'll describe our favorite vineyards and restaurants, as well as a few where you won't miss much if you skip.
Getting there & other tips
We flew into Tijuana airport and rented a car there. There are several worthwhile stops on the way down to the Valle, including lobster tacos in Puerto Nuevo and Ensenada. GO TO THE ATM BEFORE YOU LEAVE TIJUANA OR ENSENADA! They are basically non-existent in the Valle itself.
